Boustead
Curve Sdn Bhd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Boustead Properties Berhad had
on 8 March 2005 signed a tenancy agreement with Berjaya Books Sdn Bhd, the
franchise operator of the Borders’ brand in Malaysia, to open Borders
at the Curve.
YBhg. Tan Sri Dato’ Lodin Wok Kamaruddin, Group Managing Director, Boustead
Holdings Berhad, said, “From the onset, it has always been our intention
to deliver exciting new brands at the Curve as this will complement the Curve’s
unique lifestyle and fashion appeal including our one-of-a kind open air concept.”
“We
are glad to have Borders as one of our retail partners and we are certain
this will be a win-win situation for both the Curve and Borders. Additionally,
the catchment of discerning consumers within the Curve’s radius,
where the population is primarily from the affluent bracket, is certainly
ideal for Borders’ consumer demographics.” |
