1960s 1961 Incorporated as a public limited company, Boustead & Co. (1960) Ltd. and listed on the Kuala Lumpur and Singapore stock exchanges.
1966 Assumed present name, Boustead Holdings Berhad.
1970s 1975 Separated Malaysian operations from overseas interests.
1976 LTAT and FELDA became major shareholders.
1980s 1988 Completed 31-storey Menara Boustead, located in Jalan Raja Chulan, Kuala Lumpur.
1990s 1990 LTAT acquired controlling interest in the company.
Jan 1992 Acquisition of a 30% interest in public listed financial services company, Affin Holdings Berhad.
Mar 1992 Rationalisation exercise involving Boustead Holdings, Kuala Sidim, Selangor Coconuts and Malakoff Berhad.
Aug 1992 Acquisition of a 70% equity interest in Kemira Sissons Paints Sdn Bhd.
Jan 1993 JV agreement signed between Boustead Estates Agency and Anwarsyukur to undertake the Group's first plantation project in Sumatera and overseas.
Sep 1994 JV agreement with Land Custody and Development Authority (LCDA) of Sarawak to establish the Group's first 10,000 hectares oil palm plantation in Sarawak under Loagan Bunut Plantations Sdn Bhd near Miri.
Jun 1995 JV agreement with Presind Plantation and Agriculture Sdn Bhd and Eddy Irianto through a 44% interest in PT Dendymarker Indah Lestari.
Feb 1996 JV agreement with TAFE Commission of New South Wales to offer a wide range of training programmes in Malaysia.
Oct 1996 Launched Mutiara Rini, the Group's first large scale property development project.
Feb 1997 Acquisition of a 20% equity interest in PSC Industries Berhad.
Feb 1999 Completed the acqusition of Wisma PJD, now known as Menara Affin.
Apr 1999 Acquired a 355-acre plot of land in Mukim Sungai Buloh, Selangor, now known as Mutiara Damansara, for mixed development.
Nov 1999 The Mutiara Rini project in Johor received the 'Best Planned Township Scheme' award for 1999 from the Malaysian Institute of Planners.
2000s Jan 2000 JV agreement signed between Boustead Holdings Berhad, YTL Corporation Berhad and the University of Nottingham for the setting up of University of Nottingham in Malaysia Sdn Bhd.
Sep 2000 The University of Nottingham Malaysia Campus opened its door and admitted its first students.
Nov 2000 S & P agreement signed between Mutiara Rini Sdn Bhd and IKANO Corporation Sdn Bhd for the sale of a 13.06-acre piece of land in Mutiara Damansara.
Feb 2001 S & P agreement signed between Mutiara Rini Sdn Bhd and Tesco Stores (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd for the sale of an 8.1-acre piece of land in Mutiara Damansara.
Jun 2001 JV agreement signed between SCB Developments Berhad, Esteem Summit Sdn Bhd and Mampu Sehati Sdn Bhd to develop and operate Cineleisure Damansara.
Jan 2002 Groundbreaking ceremony for the University of Nottingham Malaysia Campus at Balau Estate, Semenyih.
Mar 2002 First public sales launch for Mutiara Damansara Phase 1A consisting 29 units semi-D houses and 3 units bungalow houses held at the Mutiara Damansara Sales Office.
Aug 2003 Mutiara Rini Sdn Bhd signed agreements with Linear Cooling Industries for the design and build of a district plant and Gas Malaysia for the supply of natural gas to the Curve.
Sep 2003 The voluntary offer to acquire the minority interest in Kuala Sidim Berhad in order to take the company private was successfully completed.
Dec 2003 Boustead launched its new mill, Kanowit Palm Oil Mill in Sibu, Sarawak.
Dec 2003 Mutiara Rini Sdn Bhd won the Malaysian Institute of Planners 'Award for Planning Excellence 2003' for its Mutiara Damansara development project.
Dec 2003 The reclassification of Boustead Holdings Berhad from trading/services to the plantations sector and SCB Developments Berhad from plantations to properties sector of Bursa Malaysia Main Board.
Feb 2004 The University of Nottingham began the construction of its Malaysia campus on a 101-acre site near Semenyih.
Apr 2004 SCB Developments Berhad was rebranded as Boustead Properties Berhad and Kuala Sidim Berhad as Boustead Plantations Berhad to better reflect the Boustead brand name.
Aug 2004 Boustead Bulking Sdn Bhd received the ISO9001:2000 Quality Management System accreditation.
Dec 2004 the Curve lifestyle shopping mall opened in Mutiara Damansara.
Dec 2004 Boustead Sissons Paints' new plant in Nilai, Negeri Sembilan was completed.
Feb 2005 Boustead Holdings Berhad proposed acquisition of a 70% stake in BP Malaysia Sdn Bhd.
Feb 2005 The completion of Applied Agricultural Research Sdn Bhd new tissue culture laboratory, which has a production capacity of one million ramets.
Sep 2005 The University of Nottingham Malaysia Campus in Semenyih was officially opened.

Apr 2006 PSC-Naval Dockyard Sdn Bhd, an associate of Boustead delivered an Offshore Patrol Vessel to the Royal Malaysian Navy in Lumut.

Feb 2007 The Al-Hadharah Boustead REIT, the first Islamic plantation real estate investment trust was listed on the Main Board of Bursa Malaysia.
