Dear friends, shareholders, business partners and fellow Bousteadians,
Welcome
to the Boustead Holdings Berhad (Boustead) Website.
Having
undergone meaningful developments amidst challenges in this competitive
market, the Boustead Group is today stronger and more resilient,
while nimble and ready to take on new challenges.
The
Group achieved a record pre-tax profit of RM829 million on the back
of a turnover of RM5.75 billion. With strong earnings preceding
us, Boustead is positive that this momentum will continue and enhance
its shareholders value while attracting discerning investors. We
are committed to deliver sound earnings while taking into consideration
the interest of our various stakeholders.
Today
more than ever, we are totally embedded in the Malaysian economy
with our six core Divisions comprising of Plantation, Heavy Industries,
Property, Finance & Investment, Trading, and Manufacturing &
Services delivering positive earnings. A noteworthy mention is the
addition of our latest Division, Heavy Industries which bore strong
profits in its maiden year of operations.
As
a responsible Government Linked Company and part of the Lembaga
Tabung Angkatan Tentera Group, we are keenly aware that our balance
sheet must remain strong and our earnings must find new ground.
In the capital market, investors have taken to us and we are positive
on our growth prospects.
In
tandem with driving earnings upwards, we will continue to strengthen
our commitment in terms of our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)
initiatives. We have established the Group's inaugural CSR policy
which reinforces our commitment to the key recipients of our CSR
initiatives such as members of the Malaysian Armed Forces and various
other communities. The CSR policy acts as a foundation in our efforts
to solidify our role as a socially responsible entity.
